The Åland Photographic Museum houses a collection of over 16,000 objects and more than a thousand photographs. Among these, we find many well-documented images, but there are also hidden treasures in our archives. During the winter, we will shed light on some of these unknown pictures.
We do not know who is depicted in the images, and in many cases, we also lack information about when and by whom they were taken. Visitors are welcome to help us identify the individuals in the pictures. Perhaps there are relatives among them?
The exhibition opens on September 22 and runs until the end of March 2024. In September, the museum's opening hours are as follows: Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm, with extended hours on September 22 from 11 am to 6 pm. At other times, we are open by appointment.
